Links provides a safe, confidential, and compassionate environment for young women who would like guidance and support in managing life's challenges.
Young women seek counseling at Links for many reasons, including:
- self-esteem
- relationship issues
- communication problems
- peer pressure and other social issues
- dating violence
- depression and anxiety
- academic pressure and school stress
- concerns about alcohol, drug use, or other risky behavior
- body image
- pregnancy
- sexually transmitted infections
Clients who are ages 13-17 can see a counselor for a maximum of five sessions before parental consent is required; if parental consent is given, there is no limit to the number of counseling sessions. No parental consent is required for clients who are ages 18-25.
