Counseling

Links provides a safe, confidential, and compassionate environment for young women who would like guidance and support in managing life's challenges.

Young women seek counseling at Links for many reasons, including:

  • peer pressure and other social issues
  • dating violence
  • depression and anxiety
  • academic pressure and school stress
  • concerns about alcohol, drug use, or other risky behavior
  • body image
  • pregnancy
  • sexually transmitted infections

Clients who are ages 13-17 can see a counselor for a maximum of five sessions before parental consent is required; if parental consent is given, there is no limit to the number of counseling sessions. No parental consent is required for clients who are ages 18-25.
